ロータリーの綱領は、有益な事業の基礎として、奉仕の理想を鼓吹し、これを育成し、
特に次の各項を鼓吹育成するにある。
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of servise as a basis of
worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster.
　 1. 奉仕の機会として知り合いを拡めること。
　The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for servise.

2. 実業及び専門職業の道徳的水準を高めること。あらゆる有用な職業は尊重される　べきであるという認識を深めること。
　そしてロータリアン各自が職業を通じて社会に奉仕するために、その職業を品位　あらしめること。
　High ethical standards in business and professions: the recognition of 　the worthiness of all useful occupations: and the dignifying by each 　　Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society.

3. ロータリアンすべてが、その個人生活、職業生活及び社会生活に常に奉仕の理想　を適用すること。
　The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his 　　　　personal, business and community life.

4. 奉仕の理想に結ばれて実業人と専門職業人の世界的親交によって、国際間の理解　と親善と平和を推進すること。　
　 The advancement of international understanding, good will, and peace 　through a world fellowship of business and professional men united in 　the ideal of service.
